Zoie is an integrated women's health and wellness digital (app) platform focussed virtual consults, subscriptions and an online community of women and medical experts. As you can see, our vision for impact is significant!

We’re looking for a software engineering intern to work with us to execute on the vision we have and make the product more tangible to our users.

The company is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and strong preference will be given to those based in Johannesburg, but we’re open to exceptional remote candidates from around the world.

💻 What you’ll be doing day-to-day

• Solving problems
• Learning a lot on the job
• Read, write, debug, fix, test and maintain clean code
• Create and update technical documentation
• Help develop and maintain our different websites
• Help improve our website performance and capacity
• Perform operational but technical duties
• Automate workflows
• Work in a team

🏆 You should apply if

• Passionate about the mission and vision. You believe in what Zoie is trying to achieve and you care deeply about the women we serve.
• Software Development background. Completed or studying towards a BSc in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience. No formal work experience is required. If you are still a student, we will require some experience using our existing tech stack. We need a candidate who will be productive in no longer than two weeks.
• Attitude. Problem solving excites you, you take initiative and are proactive
